yep, thats pretty normal, i wasnt around for half the things in this room, but i already know what they are and how they got here.
the brain is whats familiar with the surroundings, not the current personality, if that makes sense

theres better wording but yknow what i mean, its the brain and not us that are familiar with things?
if both of yall are in or one is very close to being in front, yes
disginguishing whos doing what and thinking is what is something that gets better with practice

and also just happens sometimes, theres been cases where we have a weird thought and we're like "was that you or me?"
For us, every thought has a certain presence (‘feeling’ ‘vibe’ whatever you wish to call it) attached to it so it’s fairly easy to tell who is saying what even if multiple people are speaking or who is fronting keeps changing. We tend to flip flop a lot when it comes to fronting which isn’t the norm.
So for a while, Moss has had moments where he feels much more like a certain being and much prefers being referred to as such.
He says this is due to him being a shapeshifter.
One intense instance of this was when he felt very much like a Waddle Dee from the Kirby series.
It was particularly intense because he felt as though it was difficult to type anything other than the way the Waddle Dees speak, such as "Wa" and "Wanya".
Anyways, we're now wondering if situations like these were related to tulpamancy or had a hand in how ... almost simple it feels to adjust to fronting.
The feeling of fronting is similar to when Moss was in those strong shifted states.
Yet Moss has stated in the past that he still felt like himself, just ... different.
Yet not quite himself if that makes any sense.
wait how is that otherkin experiene rather than tulpamancy?

Moss assumes it's because he still has his sense of self, he doesn't feel like he's sitting on the couch and someone else is in front if that makes sense.
Well maybe for most of them, now that he's looking back, a couple of them have been kind of strong.
But essentially, he still feels like himself, just changed in terms of looks, how he prefers to be called, and sometimes how he acts as well
True, Moss has admittedly had troubles with putting labels to things and being very anxious to stick with them and abide by those ... likely self-imposed rules.
Otherkin stuff doesn’t really feel out of control (to us). But at the end of the day just do what feels best for you. There’s no need to really assign labels to your experience
I really do enjoy switching. It gets a lot easier once you figure it out, so the "taxing" part may only be temporary. It's a great feeling of freedom for the tulpa, IMO>
i'd go as far as to say that whenever your tulpa talks in your mind, they are switched, and when you respond, you are switched back

its just a word for being in control in that moment, and the brain can only be controlled by one at a time
7:11 PM
or at least thats how i think of it, from there you can just spread the control from thoughts to actions, and then you have a "full on" switch or whatever
I'd actually experiment to try and figure it out, but at the same time, I don't care about it as much as I do other things in my life, so we may never know, oooooh-

So if you're scared to switch because you're scared of faking, don't be, or at least....try not to be.
